This past week our volunteers reached out to more than 3,000 contacts via text to support our favorite pro-choice, pro-woman candidate, STEPHANIE THOMAS! If you're interested in helping her campaign, you can check out the dates and times HERE.

As this was our first texting campaign, we were surprised to learn how easy it was! Unlike other forms of campaigning, texting can be done anywhere. Once the texts are sent, there is time to attend to other activities (I did laundry and watched TV while waiting for responses!). The directions are very clear, and if a response question stumps you, you can reach out to your campaign manager for guidance. It was a pleasant, easy way to make a big impact! In other news: VP Kamala Harris will be in Connecticut on Wednesday, October 5th, to attend a roundtable with REP. JAHANA HAYES and Alexis McGill Johnson, President and CEO of Planned Parenthood at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain. See the video links below to learn more.

We're hosting an information table for The Reach Fund of Connecticut at The First Congregational Church on The Green's Farmer Market. We can use volunteers to help set-up, break-down, and answer questions and hand out literature. We're also going to display a QR code so that those who would like to donate can. REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS BREAKING NEWS TODAY

President Biden and Vice President Harris to make remarks today at 3:30 PM EST after their second task force meeting on Reproductive Rights. Remarks can be replayed here, fast forward to the 24:00 Mark.

U.S. Rep. Jahana Hayes (CT-05) and Alexis McGill Johnson, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, will take part at a roundtable at Connecticut State University in New Britain tomorrow.
