LATEST ACTIONS & UPDATES

ree

We're getting closer to election day, and there's no shortage of actions needed. Please consider texting, phone banking, or door-knocking in support of our local candidates, Dominique Johnson, Lucy Dathan, and Stephanie Thomas. Links are listed in the Immediate Action Needs Section below. You can also follow Norwalk Women Who Vote for the latest volunteer requests and action updates.

We've signed up for two dates to phone bank with Dominique and Lucy this Sunday, October 16th, from 2-4 p.m. and again on November 6th, 2-4 p.m. Click the links below for sign-up information or email info@dominiquejohnson.org with questions.

Our volunteers reached out to more than 6,400 contacts via text this past week to support STEPHANIE THOMAS! If you're interested in helping her campaign, you can check out the dates and times HERE.

On Saturday, we also enjoyed a beautiful (but cold!) morning at The First Congregational Church on the Green Farmer's Market to spread the word about The Reach Fund of CT. We had some meaningful conversations highlighting how essential Abortion is to women's health. In the process, we were reminded what a fantastic gift The FCC and The Norwalk Green are to our community. I'm looking forward to the Farmer's Market return next year! If you're unfamiliar with how the FCC Farmer's Market serves our community, click here for more information.

On Sunday, our co-founder and volunteer, Barb, attended the Women's Wave March at the Stamford-Norwalk Courthouse. She took some fabulous and inspiring footage of the event. Check out our Instagram or Facebook page to see more. You can also find out more details about the organizer, a sister organization, by clicking here for PinkWave.org. The event received fantastic news coverage and helped amplify our demand for women's rights, safe abortion access for all, and the importance of early voting for fair representation. Congrats to the organizers – well done!

Finally, Save the Date: Next Monday, October 17th! - The first Norwalk League of Women Voters Candidate Debate is from 7-9p.m in the Norwalk City Hall Community Room. Please see links below for viewing information. The first debate is Bob Duff and Dominique Johnson! More information is below.
