Following is a list of the Actions NARJ Volunteers are taking this week. Please Join US!

This is not an all-inclusive list; all the candidates can use your help now. This list is intended to inform you where we'll be because volunteering with new friends is much more fun! We're focusing on the election now, seeing that there are only SIX Weeks to go! However, scroll below if you'd like to hear more about upcoming social events we're currently planning. Also, you can learn more about all the volunteer postings available by going to your favorite pro-choice candidate's website or joining the Facebook group Norwalk Women Who Vote.

September 26 - October 3, 2022

LAWN SIGN ASSEMBLY

TUES, SEPT 27TH 3 PM - 6 PM

Stephanie Thomas for Secretary of State volunteers are gathering for an afternoon to assemble lawn signs, Tuesday September 27, from 3pm-6pm in Norwalk. GROUP PHONE BANKING

LET'S MAKE IT SOCIAL!

JOIN ME AT THE FARMER'S MARKET

INFO TABLE HOSTING

SAT, OCT 1ST 9 AM - 2 PM

We're hosting an information table for The Reach Fund of Connecticut at The First Congregational Church on The Green's Farmer Market. We can use volunteers to help set-up, break-down, and answer questions and hand out literature. We're also going to display a QR code so that those who would like to donate can. The Reach Fund is almost at their goal of raising $50,000 but could use help to get to the finish line. For more info, email: melissa.narj@gmail.com

MEETING NOTES FROM SEPTEMBER MEETUP

NEXT ACTIONS:

Meeting was held on September 21, 2022 at Eco Evolution in Norwalk at 7 p.m.
We'll continue to support pro-choice and female candidates through the election as needed (i.e. Door Knocking, Phone Banking, Sign Assembly).
The Reach Fund of Connecticut is also a priority. Hopefully, they'll reach their $50K goal soon.
Two social events are being planned for a later date:

1) There will be a social evening with storytelling and sharing (similar to the Moth Stories).

2) "Pop-Up Sports Bra": A social event to celebrate Women's Sports while spreading the word

about The Reach Fund of CT.

Planned Parenthood of Southern New England's Annual Checkup, with Dahlia Lithwick on October 17 at 6 PM.
