WHILE WE CAN NOT BE SURE WE WERE TROLLED ON INSTAGRAM, IT APPEARS THAT WAS THE CASE. IN UNDER A WEEK, OUR INSTAGRAM PAGE WAS SUSPENDED TWICE WITH A MESSAGE THAT INSTAGRAM WAS INVESTIGATING "FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE COMMUNITY". UNFORTUNATELY, ABORTION IS A BAD WORD TO SOME.
THE SUSPENSIONS CAME AFTER POSTING VIDEOS THAT WE THOUGHT WERE IMPORTANT TO SHARE OF TWO OF OUR TOP PRO-CHOICE CANDIDATES. ON INSTAGRAM, REELS CAN BE VIEWED BY PEOPLE OUTSIDE OF OUR GEOGRAPHIC AREA WHICH ALSO PUTS US AT RISK OF BREAKING INSTAGRAM POLICY IN ANTI-ABORTION STATES. THEREFORE, TO KEEP OUR INSTAGRAM PAGE ACTIVE, WE WILL POST IMPORTANT VIDEOS HERE. IF YOU HAVE A CAMPAIGN SPEECH, AN INSPIRATIONAL SPEAKER, OR READ AN ARTICLE OUR COMMUNITY WOULD BE INTERESTED IN - YOU ARE WELCOME TO SHARE IT HERE. INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.
STEP 1: TO CONTRIBUTE CONTENT YOU MUST CREATE AN ACCOUNT. LOOK FOR THESE ICONS ON THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF THE PAGE:
